What we do

The Ops Office is a boutique operations and supply chain consultancy, built and led by Tess Moseley. A core focus of her work is deep analysis of gross profit margin, helping businesses clearly understand their current position. This includes a detailed breakdown of the full cost-to-serve across sourcing, manufacturing, freight, warehousing, and fulfilment to identify where margin is being lost or left on the table. From there, practical opportunities to unlock gross profit are identified, whether through cost reduction, pricing strategy, or operational improvement, ensuring growth is not only top-line, but commercially sustainable.

Work spans a range of operational and supply chain projects, supporting both local and global growth initiatives. This includes launching into new channels such as FMCG, marketplace, wholesale, or e-commerce, while ensuring operations are set up to scale effectively and sustainably.

There is a strong focus on optimising both local and international logistics networks, managing RFQs across key areas of the supply chain, and streamlining processes within existing facilities to improve efficiency and scalability.

Support also extends to demand planning, with the development of practical and scalable processes that strengthen forecasting and improve inventory flow. In addition, existing systems and technology structures are reviewed to ensure operations are supported by the right tools—enabling better visibility, stronger decision-making, and long-term operational resilience.

Flexible engagement models are available, including hourly rates, monthly retainers, and project-based pricing, depending on scope and availability.
